Directions & Parking

Hours of operation: 8: 00 AM to 3:45 PM *Please note – the 610 South Canal Global Entry location is by appointment only. Please be on time for your appointment. No parking at the U.S. Customs House. Public transportation strongly recommended, self-paid parking lots are available nearby. DRIVE- I290 East to Canal Street exit. Drive South approx. 200 yards (crossing Harrison) until you see the building on the right. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION- CTA Blue Line (El) exit at Clinton St. Walk southbound .2 miles to Harrison St. At Harrison St., turn left. Turn right at Canal St. Building entrance will be on right.

Important Notes

Check in with security staff at the main entrance to the building on Canal Street. Once cleared by security, take the elevator to the 6th floor. After exiting the elevator, press the buzzer (on the wall to the left). An officer will provide further instructions. Additional family members including minor's wishing to be interviewed on the same day must have their own appointment scheduled. Each applicant must log into their own account and make an appointment. It is only possible to make ONE appointment per account on the scheduling website. After successfully scheduling an appointment slot, an email from the individual's profile will be sent confirming the appointment for each applicant. ***REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION***Please note that all Global Entry applicants are required to bring the following documents to their interview. (1) ALL applicants are required to bring their VALID Passport Booklet. Applicants who have additional citizenships are to bring the countries passport(s) if valid. (2) Proof of Residence – If the address on your Driver’s License is not current, please bring another proof of address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement, mortgage or lease statement, etc.) (3) U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents are required to bring their Lawful Permanent Resident card (I-551). (4) If you are not a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, you are required to bring proof of status (e.g., Visa [may be attached to an expired passport], Employment Authorization Form, Form I-797 Notice of Action, Form I-94, Student Sevis Form I-20, etc.).
